MADRID (EFE). Chris Martin, líder de Coldplay, aprovechó su estancia en Madrid para pedir, junto con otras bandas españolas como Amaral, La Oreja de Van Gogh y Alex Ubago, al presidente del gobierno, José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, su "apoyo público" a la campaña de Comercio con Justicia de Intermon Oxfam.
De cara a la Cumbre Ministerial de la Organización Mundial del Comercio (OMC), que se celebrará del 13 al 18 de diciembre en Hong Kong, los artistas, en nombre de esta organización no gubernamental, piden al presidente del gobierno que "lidere un cambio de las reglas comerciales que condenan a la pobreza a millones de personas".
