La banda Black Sabbat emitió un comunicado el lunes diciendo que al músico de 63 años le han diagnosticado linfoma y que está conversando con los médicos sobre su tratamiento.

Esta desafotunada noticia se da tiempo después de que anunciara que sacaran un nuevo disco déspues de 33 años con el productor Rick Rubin en Los Ángeles. El vocalista Ozzy Osbourne, el bajista Geezer Butler y el baterista Bill Ward – viajarán a Inglaterra para seguir trabajando con Iommi.
